FAQ

General Information

  • What is the protocol for school parking & entry and exit?
Ensuring seamless traffic flow and safety during drop-off and pick-up periods is paramount at Ali's Treehouse. Parents are encouraged to park along the main road for convenient access to our premises. While mornings typically afford ample parking, afternoons may witness heightened traffic. Should parking become scarce, do not hesitate to reach out to us for assistance, even if it entails personally escorting your child to your vehicle.
  • What is the schedule?
Our school day commences promptly at 8:00 am and concludes at 2:30 pm, providing a structured framework conducive to optimal learning. Timeliness is of the essence in maintaining this structure and ensuring that all students derive maximum benefit from our curriculum. While occasional delays are understandable, habitual tardiness may incur a nominal late pick-up fee of $10 to cover additional supervision costs. For more details about our daily activities, please refer to our "Curriculum page" and scroll down to "A Typical Day".
  • What about snacks and lunch?
Nutrition serves as a cornerstone of holistic development. To sustain your child's vitality throughout the day, we advocate for the provision of 1 or 2 healthy snacks and a refillable water bottle. Furthermore, our lunch offerings, sourced from esteemed providers such as Buon Appetito and Pikatas, afford a delectable array of Italian and Costa Rican delicacies for $6 or 3000 colones per meal. To uphold food safety standards, students are enjoined from food sharing, with our facilities equipped with refrigeration and microwaving amenities for meal prep.
  • Do you provide after school care?
Acknowledging the exigencies of contemporary schedules, we are pleased to offer after-school care services from 2:30 pm to 4:30 pm, subject to an additional fee. We will be ensuring a nurturing environment where children can unwind and engage in supervised activities. For more information, please send us a message.
  • What is your protocol for illnesses?
In the interest of collective well-being, children exhibiting symptoms such as fever, cough, or gastrointestinal distress within the past 24 hours are advised to remain at home. By diligently monitoring your child's health and adhering to this protocol, you play a pivotal role in preserving the health of our school community.
  • How do you clean and disinfect?
Cleanliness is a cornerstone of our ethos at Ali's Treehouse. Our dedicated staff undertakes proactive measures to ensure that our learning environment remains pristine and sanitized. From routine cleaning to stringent disinfection protocols, we spare no effort in upholding the highest standards of cleanliness.
